Anyone who’s been following our blog this year knows that we’ve had the privilege of sponsoring Hedge End Rangers Eagles U8s this season. Good citizenship is one of our core company values so it’s been a great opportunity to support local grassroots football, encourage a healthy lifestyle and give back to the community.
A couple of weeks ago, the team had a fantastic opportunity when they were asked to be the guard of honour for Eastleigh FC’s home game against Bromley.
They cheered on the Spitfire’s in their bid for promotion to EFL League Two. Eastleigh FC played out a hard-fought 0-0 draw, despite being down to 10 men for most of the game.
This gave the boys a chance to step out onto the pitch of a professional football club for the first time, which was an experience they won’t forget in a hurry. We’ll also be cheering on HER Eagles for the remainder of their season and wish them all the best in their last few matches.
